Nicklas joined HTC in June 2010 as Vice President of Product Management, with the mission to build up a global portfolio and product management team. In August 2011 Nicklas transferred within HTC to build up the Global Partner and Business Development team in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is now located at the HTC San Francisco office with the role of Vice President of Partner Management. In this role Nicklas oversees all key partner and business development activity for HTC products globally. Before joining HTC Nicklas was the Head of Product Management at Sony Ericsson. In this role he managed all Product Management and Business Development teams in Sweden, USA, China, Taiwan and Tokyo. Nicklas prior to that worked for Ericsson and Sony Ericsson in the mobile phone industry. He has a Masters degree with specialization in production and quality control at Luleå Technical University in Sweden, with a second major in finance. He also studied Manufacturing Management at Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY. Nicklas enjoys advising several young Bay Area start-ups on mobile strategy in his spare time.
